MeetInPK ("we", "us") operates a social discovery platform for people in Pakistan. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, and information from Google Sign-In if you use it.
- Profile information you provide: name, age, gender, city, bio, photos, interests, and what you're looking for.
- Your phone number, collected for verification purposes and never shown to other users.
- Messages you send to your matches, stored so conversations persist across sessions.
- Payment screenshots submitted for Premium membership, used solely to verify payment.
- Basic usage data (e.g. last active time) used to keep the product working reliably.
How we use your information
- To create and display your profile to other users who match your preferences.
- To operate matching, messaging, and notifications.
- To manually review new profiles and payment submissions for authenticity and safety.
- To investigate reports of abuse and enforce our Community Guidelines.
- To communicate with you about your account.
Where your data is stored
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Storage) to store and process your data securely. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
What other users can see
Other users can see the profile information you choose to add — your name, age, city, bio, photos, and interests. Your email address and phone number are never shown to other users.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile at any time from the Profile page.
- You can block or report another user at any time.
- You can permanently delete your account and profile data from Settings.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and associated data, other than records we're required to keep for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
